Non nobis, Domine, non nobis...

Spiritual navel gazing of the pilgrim soul and other mindless wanderings of occasional relevance which try to give glory, laud and honor to the God of Mercy and Love. We walk by faith up Mount Carmel together and hopefully do not stumble too much along the way.

"COR"

Mercies kept as quiet city roamed,
Standing alone
A pen at her side
Buns blazing---quiet spirit morns
New day till sunset
Love’s open door.

At last quiet dawn
A penny that night well spent
At last faint hope
Tears for Juliet
At last simple pride
Of past triumphs won.
No more to sorrow----give rest
As he took gun in hand.

Simple hope -----quiet detachment
Of times long lost
Of peaceful hearts now rent
In anger------in lust
Seething------they sing at night
And you fairest maiden-----ran home
Peace to come at last?
Peace to come at last.

One shot -----one kill
Or so the lunatics say
Warriors sprung listless
Clamoring for hell’s door?
Striving for heaven within
Don’t give up.
Never give up.
Striving for heaven within.

Darkness lifted-------------
Kindness broke through. Night
Desolation finding
Reality waited no more.
Choices to be changed
As hope finds herself at home.
Mercies kept as darkness lifted
Running-----------
Running----------------
Sprinting-----------------------------------------------!!
Love’s open door.
